Thomas Ng, Founder and CEO of Genashtim, was invited to serve as one of the esteemed judges for the Malaysia Retailers Association (MRA) Awards 2026, in recognition of his experience in sustainability, social responsibility, and innovation. For Thomas, the invitation was an opportunity to contribute his perspective to an initiative that recognizes retailers creating both commercial value and positive impact.

Genashtim and B Market Builder Southeast Asia (BMB SEA) successfully hosted the B Corp Asia Summit 2026, marking their first large-scale international event. Held at The Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur in partnership with the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), the two-day Summit on 22 and 23 June welcomed more than 500 delegates from 51 countries. The event brought together B Corps, aspiring B Corps, business leaders, sustainability practitioners, investors, and representatives from the public, private, and non-profit sectors. For Thomas, the Summit represented an important opportunity to bring together a global community committed to using business as a force for good.

On 28 March 2025, The Remarkable Reinventors Workshop – Voices of Reinvention* took place at Csuites by The Great Room, PLQ 3. Hosted by Su-Yen Wong, the first female Chairperson of the Singapore Institute of Directors, the event gathered a distinguished panel of seasoned leaders to explore the evolving nature of leadership and purpose beyond conventional retirement age.

On August 21, 2024, the Genashtim Philippines leadership team and I had the privilege of joining a transformative training session at KMC Solutions. It was a special event featuring insights from Guy Russo, a valued member of our Board of Advisors and the former CEO of McDonald’s Australia and K-Mart Australia.
