Genashtim Reaches New Heights with NVPC’s Highest Champion of Good Recognition
Genashtim has been awarded the Champion of Good recognition, the highest distinction under Singapore’s National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC)’s Company of Good Recognition System. Thomas is honored to see Genashtim receive this recognition, which celebrates organizations that embed purpose at the heart of their business to create meaningful, lasting impact across their stakeholders and communities.
The Champion of Good recognition reflects Genashtim’s unwavering commitment to building a business where inclusion, sustainability, and social impact are integral to every decision. It reinforces how the organization goes beyond responsible business practices to inspire and influence others, creating a ripple effect of positive change.
NVPC’s Company of Good Recognition Award assesses companies holistically across five areas: People, Society, Governance, Environment, and Economic impact. Companies are evaluated across four progressive tiers: Company of Good 1 Heart, 2 Hearts, and 3 Hearts, and the program’s highest honor, Champion of Good.
A total of 481 organizations received the Company of Good recognition this year, with notable Champion of Good recipients including AIA Singapore, Barclays Bank, and Nestlé Singapore.
As Singapore’s national agency for volunteerism and philanthropy, NVPC champions its vision of making Singapore a City of Good by helping businesses embed corporate purpose into their strategies, cultures, and operations.
For Thomas, the Champion of Good recognition is an affirmation of Genashtim’s mission to contribute to a more caring, inclusive, and compassionate society, and of his longstanding belief that business can be a powerful force for good. The recognition also motivates Genashtim to further advance inclusivity, strengthen its commitment to responsible business and charitable efforts, and continue creating positive impact for people and the planet.
